Finca Las Nubes is owned by Fernando Gutiérrez and the farm name translates and 'Farm of the clouds'. The farm is situated at 1400 - 1500 masl and is planted with varietals bourbon, catuai and pacamara in the rich volcanic soil of the land. The farm follows the practices of Blue Harvest and those that are taught at the Renacer field school. The farm also have shade trees planted named pepeto and cuje as well as using cover crops to naturally increase soil health and retain moisture.
Las Nubes! The third coffee in our Honey series from El Salvador. The most approachable coffee of the lot and a great way to compare at the farm level with our other Los Naranjos lot. The coffee we cupped was solid, but not more than that. It'll please most coffee drinkers in its simplicity, but if you got your Fellow Stagg EKG - Commandante C40 MKIII and Acaia Lunar scale coffee station and shower with Third Wave Water because ordinary water is shit then this coffee is not for you and you should get our Pacamara instead.
